Since 1969, I have lived in the West and been inspired by its great natural beauty. The organic shapes of my vessels reflect my love of nature.
Because of the time spent as a precious metal jeweler, many of my Raku vessels are embellished with small porcelain additions, stones or beads.
My wall pieces are inspired by my travels to European churches and cathedrals, prehistoric stone circles, Anaszi ruins, carved rock caves of India, and all the weathered doors and footworn steps in between. The mystery invoked by partially hidden doors and steps curving beyond sight has always drawn me. I am reminded of possibilities and choice - each path a different future - each door opening to another experience.
